The film captures the program’s unique environment through interviews with participants, staff, volunteers, and the organization’s leaders set against footage of key locations and group activities.

The narrative is built around candid soundbites that illustrate how the program transforms PTSD and trauma into tangible recovery pathways, while emphasizing that it serves as a powerful tool rather than an exclusive cure. Close collaboration with Executive Director Justin Hoover and Director of Development & Engagement Michele Orpin ensured an accurate, respectful portrayal of The Battle Within’s mission and methodology.

The shoot spanned two days with an additional scouting day months prior. Post‑production was completed within six months, aligning with the gala’s schedule. The project was produced on a flexible budget that allowed us to focus on delivering a high‑quality message for this important nonprofit.
